Two more pieces ready for the kiln.

Had a pretty abysmal time this last session at the workshop as they decided to hold another workshop (Portuguese Tiles painting) and then used the slab maker machine as a table to place their items. So, I couldn’t use it.

I was fine with being placed in another room to work on my things, but the little touch up was all I had to do. So I decided to make the slabs myself.

Will skip a week as I have a business trip to go to, so hopefully July they will post their schedule.

And here is another one of the home cats done. Boy Boy!

Can I just say, any tiger-pattern or bengal-pattern are really hard to do!

And apparently, I don't know my own cat well enough. The tip of his tail starts to get white, and I didn't do it on the piece. Oops.

At least, Boy Boy only has markings on his face, a little on the legs, and the tail, so I could practically leave the whole body plain orange, haha!

Today I didn't go to the atelier due to other business, but I shall go back next week!

Oh yay, finally! The home cats are underway!

But I don't understand, I did 3 layers of glaze and still one of the sides you can see the brush strokes (when you went over with a brush that wasn't wet enough).

But all is ok!

The tail... I should see how I should better it.

Until next week!
