I must say, I do not like working on the wheel. For the life of me, I find it very hard to centre a piece, and then I can't really tell how much clay I have. This is all a matter of experience, I know, and I admit I should practice more.

So we learnt about the azulejo and the blue (oxide?) color they use. I started off all serious about the Portuguese Faience type of artwork, but you can see I very soon did my own thing... haha! Sorry!

As I previously mentioned, I took a Portuguese Faience workshop thingamajig. That got me to using the wheel again.

And in order to be using the wheel, I had snip off all my nails. That was a pretty unhappy time for me lol.

I will post my pieces from the time!

I have finally made my way to make Bido. Bido has since crossed the rainbow bridge. He was our lovely old-man dog. Even at 19 years, he was still puppy faced. The most hilarious thing about him was, he never liked "going out" and would whine in the car until we got home. Such a lovely dog. I miss him.
